Leslie Phillips – 98 Years Old

Leslie Phillips earned his retirement after achieving so much in his career since the ’50s, when many of us weren’t even about to be born yet. Having almost lived a century, the former actor and author’s catchphrase “Ding Dong” is still ringing in the ears of many from his comic roles.

As a voice artist, Phillips took on dramatic roles, and you may remember him for voicing the Sorting Hat in the “Harry Potter” franchise. But what is he up to these days, you may wonder? Phillips doesn’t like being away from the big screens because we saw him in a 2020 trailer on Vimeo for the movie “Darkheart Manor.”

Hugh Laurie – 63 Years Old

Hugh Laurie doesn’t look like he has changed at all from when he played the role of Dr. Gregory House in the medical drama series “House” beginning in 2004. He earned a world record in 2011 as the most-watched lead actor on TV, and he can boast of several awards to his credit.

Although we began to appreciate his talent in the 21st century, his career dates back to the ’80s, beginning with comedy acts like “A Bit of Fry & Laurie.” Laurie isn’t done yet with giving us great performances, and he has taken another role as a doctor in the 2022 TV mini-series “Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?”

Who would believe that Robby Benson today is the same man that took the late ’70s by storm as a teen idol with stunning performances in the sports films “Ice Castles” and “One on One?” His appearance has changed quite a lot, but you can still spot those light blue eyes anywhere.

After rising to fame by voicing the Beast in the 1991 animated film with Disney “Beauty and the Beast,” he began what became a successful career as a film director and is credited with working on a few episodes of the popular sitcom “Friends.” Benson’s latest interest is in music, and he released “I Hear a Song!” in 2020.
